Re: Data Visualization

You can use the GUICanvas element, it allows drawing or arbitrary lines and shapes (along with text and images). Animation window in the editor uses it to display animation curves which I suspect is quite similar to your use-case. Optionally, as a more complex alternative, you can write your own Ren...

Re: UI Docking system

It's an interesting idea. Currently its tightly integrated with the editor windowing system (which is built on top of the low-level windowing system available in the library), which makes it hard to move to the library. But it would be nice to make it more generic and available from the library, eve...

Re: Error generate banshee 3d

Hi, please post the error message you are getting, preferably with the entire log.  Note that if you have downloaded Banshee binaries from the website, support for them is not available because they are obsolete and most of the issues have been resolved in a recent version. Newer version can be comp...

Re: Error opening banshee3d

This is an extremely old version of the engine that's currently no longer supported, due to the fact that many of the issues with it have been resolved since. If you want to try a newer version you'll have to compile it from source code, or wait until the official release.

Re: Can not find "GameSettings.asset" ?

Hi. You are probably running the Game project, which is not meant to be ran by normal users, and it is instead used by the publish feature in the editor. If you run any of the Example* projects it should not ask you for that file.

Re: Spec Map, Rotate around Selected and Nodes

I'll be adding node based editors in the future, but none are planned for the moment. They are likely to come only after all major features have been implemented.

Re: Spec Map, Rotate around Selected and Nodes

No specular map as it isn't compatible with the current lighting model. Roughness/metalness should be used instead. A fully custom material/lighting models are possible but that will be up to the individual developer to implement, and I might extend the default material library as the time goes on. ...

Re: Auto Game Camera

Game camera is intended to be controlled through script (e.g. player movement), so having editor commands for it would conflict with any user-defined script. I do plan on adding a way of positioning game camera by cloning the current scene camera, mainly for cinematics. And perhaps provide a built-i...
